Sports Recovery

What is it
It is a set of specialized methods and techniques, applied after demanding athletic activity, training or a competition, aiming to provide optimal recovery of the body. Its purpose is to control muscle fatigue and pain, improve blood and lymphatic circulation, restore muscle function and flexibility and prevent injuries, allowing the individual to return to their next training session or activity safely and immediately, with optimal performance.
Who is it for
- Professional athletes, to optimize recovery between competitions and intense training sessions, reduce the risk of overtraining and extend their athletic career.
- Amateur athletes and active individuals, who wish to find relief from muscle pain, improve their performance and prevent injuries.

What it includes
Sports Recovery includes a range of specialized techniques, which are applied either separately or in combination, depending on the needs and goals of each person, such as:
- Sports Massage: A specialized form of massage focused on preparing muscles before exercise, recovery afterwards and treating delayed onset of muscle soreness (DOMS).
- Compression Garments / Intermittent Pneumatic Compression: The application of controlled, intermittent pressure to, primarily, the lower limbs, using special “boots” or sleeves. This technique enhances lymphatic and venous circulation, contributing to the reduction of swelling and faster muscle recovery from fatigue.
- IASTM Technique – Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization: This is an advanced technique that uses specially designed metal tools to address adhesions, scar tissue and fascial restrictions. It helps improve tissue elasticity, restore range of motion and reduce pain.
