Sports Physiotherapy

What is it
It’s a specialized field of physiotherapy that deals with the prevention, assessment and rehabilitation of sports injuries (neuromusculoskeletal injuries related to sports activity). Its goal is a safe and fast return to play for the athlete, improvement of performance and minimizing the risk of future injuries.
Who is it for
- Professional athletes, to manage acute or chronic sports injuries (either conservatively, or pre- or post-operatively) and to accelerate recovery after competition or intensive training sessions.
- Amateur athletes and active individuals, who wish to manage sports-related injuries, improve their technique and prevent future problems.
